Small Town Ghosts Team
Time passes, interests and commitments change. Many of the original Small Town Ghosts team members have moved on. The team has reformed with new members and have begun a whole new series of paranormal investigations. This section will feature information about our members and our work.
Carol Miller is another truly multifaceted team member. She is a Reiki master and a student and advocate of alternative healing methodologies. Carol is a jewelry artist and expert on the metaphysical properties of gems and minerals. She designs wonderful metaphysical jewelry and is the official dowsing rod maker for the Small Town Ghosts team. A team member since 1999, Carol has participated in many of our Iowa investigations. She is sensitive to paranormal energies and lends her expertise in energy work and stones to our work. Among Carol's interests are promoting local artists, helping others develop their creative skills, and astronomy.
Barb Huyser

Barb Huyser, author of the book "Small Town Ghosts" has been participating in paranormal investigations since 1977. She is a member of the Ghost Research Society and northwestern Illinois team leader for the American Ghost Society. Barb is the first contact for investigation requests, lead investigator, chief strategist and spokesperson for the team. She has a reputation as one of the most successful photographers of paranormal activity around. Barb is a certified hypnotist and has studied Reiki. In real life, she runs a vocational training program for adults with disabilities.
Amy Myers

Talk about multitalented! Amy Myers has been a member of the Small Town Ghosts team since 1998, using her talents as a sensitive to figure out who is haunting and why. Amy is an excellent strategist and works with the team on spirit release, helping earthbound spirits to cross over to the other side. Amy has as master's degree in English, has worked in journalism, does freelance background research and editing for authors, and is currently doing public relations work. She is a Reiki practitioner. Her hobby is belly dancing.

Susan McCormick
Sensitive
Susan McCormick is one of the charter members of the Small Town Ghosts team, participating in investigations since June, 1998. Susan has Native American ancestory and is a student of Native American spirituality and healing techniques. She is also a Reiki practitioner. Along with her sensitivity to spirits, Susan has used her talents as a medium to do spirit rescue. These days, Susan is a homemaker and offers private readings.

Tonia has been a member of the team since 1999. She has participated in several of our cemetery investigations and was a major contributor to the investigation of the Courtright home reported in "Small Town Ghosts". Tonia's wields a mean thermal scanner and EMF detector.
